For Nerine part 2

So much do I love you
My sweetest wife
That a poem is impossible
To describe our life

Everyone has written
The words I would choose
That tell you I love you
And when I’ve got the blues

You know all the love songs
That for you I would sing
To make you feel happy
So what do I bring

What if I simply
Just be there for you
And forever be honest
With a heart so true

And what if I wake with you
Every single day that I can
To reinforce our love
Our original plan

And I apologise my love,
That these words may seem plain,
But I love you so much,
Can we marry again.

My Love for thee

Love be the food
Slip the breach of dissention
An idiot a fool to wonder
Of any other intention

Perchance, love against me
O’er hot coals I do go
Light through yonder window
Love thee more I know

Thou hast loved others
Doth it preclude me
Sweet hours from reconciliation
I raised my heart to thee

More things hasten my love
Thou art my heart and soul
Why wouldst thou be not for me
Departure should take its toll

Unto this broken heart
Fear of our summers demise
Wish thee never more to hope
Our love again should rise

For Nerine

For we shall live ever young,
Blow thou so called aging,
And with strongest hearts pumping,
Thou canst surely not be staging.
But when our sunset fadeth,
Thine friendship together we will miss,
Thou must hang on o’flower,
Or begone! The passion and the bliss.
If thou swear’st your love,
Then I do love thee too,
A govern’d death together,
The best that we can do.

For I love thee

For I love thee,
You aught to pause,
For I love thee Best,
My love, my cause.

For I love thee,
You live this day,
My lips to kiss,
Sweet taste I say.

For I love thee,
You hoist my heart,
Sweet music,
We must never part.
