Simple Life
My thanks to all of you,
As you would like it,
Noble in reason, sure,
Without thought of merit.
No trust relative, wherefore,
There’s the challenge, stars
Nothing like a visitor,
Why wouldst thou be from mars?
ET unto stranger things,
Phenomenon on earth,
Just busking in Melbourne,
For all it may be worth.
Hours upon thy stage,
Dollars in my hat,
Sometimes just the simple life,
Is strangely where I’m at?
