Love Thy Brother
Hey! Doth the family blood not call?
That you should love thy brother,
Alas, outrageous ignorance, no sign,
Doubt, maybe anger but why, nothing at all.
Fear not and wounds be conquer’d,
For I love thee all this day,
Life hath ways of being very short,
Grace thy friendship quickly I say.
Lord knoweth when I’m gone, then I’m gone
And what of the passion I did spew,
Unlimited offers of forgiveness to each,
Hath not it got to you.
