The New Girl

God knows and only he views
The road ahead with clear vision
For I am unsighted

Fragments of love shatter me
Betwixt and between
The past and the future

Is life this sad that we cannot start again?
Beyond grief
And the winds of change make me stay

Is my loyalty so glued?
Is my sadness so controlling

That love has left me
