A Day of Thought
I turned sixty today
Almost
Without permission
Whilst my love left so early
So much younger
My mate
My loves bro has gone too
And
I’m sixty feeling guilty
Maybe
I took their years
It’s a funny space nought to sixty
When it’s empty
Loved ones stolen
Forever
A big gap never filled
A missing Wife
A missing mate
A missing Dad
A missing Uncle
A missing Sister
A broken heart
A Day of Thought
